We thank all the participating schools, astronomers and astronomers from Colombia and Spain who took the time to give a talk to each of the participating schools. And to the jurors who helped us with the difficult task of reviewing all the incredible drawings we received (+500).
A program that seeks to bring astronomy to schools throughout Colombia,
through a talk that inspires primary school students to make a drawings that
relate astronomy and Colombian culture and society.
These schools will participate in a drawing contest supported by the Embajada de Colombia in Spain, and the Cosulado de Colombia en Madrid.
COMPETITION RULES
Virtual Talk
A VIRTUAL TALK will be given to the participating school students, which will be given by two astrophysicists, from Spain and Colombia, in March - April. To give inspiration to students in their drawing.
Reception of works
A maximum of 30 drawings will be delivered per institution, which will be sent via a form that will be shared directly with the institutions. Deadline:May 31, 2024.
Verdict
The winners will be contacted directly and published on social networks on July 15th.
Drawing
The drawing can only be done on sheets of paper, A4 size, using pencil, pen, colors and/or crayons.
Evaluating committee
The jury that will decide the winning drawings is made up of 5 professionals from different areas of work such as: science, arts, science communication, among others.
Awards
The winning drawings will be exhibited at an art exhibition in Madrid. And the authors of the drawings will win a astronomy book
Awards
The author of the best drawing will receive two astronomy books, donated by Planeta publishing house.
The best drawings will be presented in an art exhibition at the Planetario de Madrid, Spain.
For this project, we have the support of the Colombian Embassy in Spain and the Colombian Consulate in Madrid.
